Class Description

Description

Learn the foundational principles for creating functional websites using HTML and CSS, the primary languages that form the basis of all webpages.

You will gain practical experience building websites entirely from code, from writing your first lines of markup through deploying sites to live servers. You will learn industry-standard practices for organizing and structuring webpage content using HTML semantic markup and applying visual styling with CSS.

Using HTML, you will construct webpages incorporating text, images, multimedia, and additional elements. CSS enables you to apply professional styling, establish centered layouts, integrate background imagery, format navigation systems, and implement responsive design techniques that allow pages to adapt intelligently to different screen dimensions using media query methodology. To complete the process, you will deploy your finished sites to web servers via FTP file transfer. We supply you with prepared content materials, allowing you to concentrate on learning the coding process.
