What's Included in Your Workshop:
We provide spray paint, protective gloves, full studio access, and guidance from an accomplished NYC graffiti artist. You'll create artwork directly on our studio walls, authentically experiencing the medium. We also offer individualized canvases (20 x 10 inches) for those preferring a portable finished piece. You may alternatively select a large family canvas (4 feet x 5 feet) or bring your own clothing items (t-shirts, sweatshirts) to customize instead of the standard canvas option, all included in the workshop price.
Optional Guided Tour Experience:
Enhance your workshop with an optional tour before or after your session. The experience includes a guided 1-hour walking tour showcasing over 25 remarkable murals created by outstanding street artists throughout the neighborhood. A combined tour and workshop session lasting two hours offers excellent value, while the maximum option combining the tour with the workshop extends to 2.5 hours for the ultimate immersive experience.
Meeting Location and Directions:
The one-hour graffiti workshop takes place at our Brooklyn Art Studio. Meet at 282 Meserole Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The nearest public transportation access is the Montrose L Train subway station.
What To Bring and Wear:
Choose casual clothing that you won't mind getting paint on during your session. While the paint typically washes away, dressing appropriately reduces anxiety and lets you focus on creativity. Plan to allow approximately 15 minutes after the workshop concludes for your artwork to dry before packing it for transport.
