Class Description

Description

Peace out and learn to create beautiful embroidery. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll master essential embroidery techniques while completing an adorable peace-sign hoop design by Marigold and Mars.

What You'll Learn:

  • How to transfer a printed image onto fabric using various methods
  • The types of fabric, embroidery floss, needles, and tools required for successful embroidery
  • Basic embroidery stitches, including outline stitch and filler stitch, to complete your embroidered design
  • How to properly frame your finished piece in an embroidery hoop for a polished presentation

Materials Included:

All materials needed for this project are provided and included in the class cost. Keep in mind that embroidery is a methodical craft, so some students may not complete the entire project during the workshop. However, you will leave with all the knowledge and skills needed to finish your piece at home and continue developing your embroidery practice.

Refund Policy

We do not issue refunds on workshop registrations.

  • If you register for a workshop and later become unable to attend, we will gladly offer a credit if you notify us at least 5 business days before the workshop.
  • Workshop credits are not redeemable for cash and cannot be applied to merchandise purchases
  • We are unable to offer credits of any kind, or honor reschedule requests, with less than 5 business days advance notice.
  • Credits cannot be given for any registrations for workshops hosted by visiting/ out of town instructors. Due to the nature of these one-time-only workshops, all events hosted by special guests are subject to this policy. Thank you for understanding!
  • In the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled due to inclement weather, or other Act of God, you will receive a credit to take another class at a later date (in-person or virtual).

Our workshops require a great deal of pre-planning, including ordering supplies and tools, booking staff, and making commitments to pay our instructors -- all based on the number of students who register. When students ask to cancel or reschedule at the last minute, we lose money. As a small business, we are unable to absorb these costs and still keep our class prices low.

In fairness to all of our customers, we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness or travel. If you are unable to attend a workshop at the last minute, we suggest giving your spot to a friend!

Refund Processing Fees:

  • The following only applies in the event a provider’s cancellation/refund policy allows for cancellations and a full refund, please see above or contact CourseHorse to determine eligibility.
  • In the event a class is still going to occur and a full refund is requested, and you are eligible for a full refund in accordance with the provider’s policy, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
