Description

In this class we will learn some basics of glass as a material and as a medium. I'll be teaching some fun facts about my favorite see-through solid (or is it a liquid?) As well as how to use glass to "paint with light" and create fused glass sun catchers.

What to Expect:

The glass needs to be fused in the kiln and cool down overnight, so the students will have to return to UrbanGlass once notified to pick up their work.

Eligibility:

First time glass-tronauts welcome! No previous experience required.
Open to middle school aged youth.

Sliding-scale Pricing:

We offer sliding-scale pricing options for youth classes in an effort to provide greater access to glass education for our growing community of young artists. Please self-select the pricing tier most appropriate for your financial situation.
