Join us Saturday, February 8th, from 1 to 6 pm for an Open House event. Make your own hand blown heart paperweight!
For 30-minutes, work one-on-one with an artist for an crash course in the basics of glassblowing. You will leave having crafted your own handmade heart for a valentines day sentiment. In addition to our glassmaking event, free tours of the school's art center and studios, along with demonstrations of glassblowing, will be available on the hour. Tours depart from the Agnes Varis Art Center.
Important Thing to Note:
Paperweights will need to be annealed (cooled) in a kiln after being made. Finished paperweights will be available for pick up at school the following week, or can be shipped for a fee.
