Class Description

Description

Transform raw materials into a stunning midcentury-style table in this hands-on woodworking workshop. Rather than using pre-cut pieces, you will work alongside expert instructors to cut, sand, and assemble your bench from beginning to end. Throughout the process, you will develop fundamental woodworking skills and learn the safe operation of essential power tools, including the miter saw, table saw, power sanders, drills, and additional equipment.

Important Class Details:

  • Finished table dimensions: 25 inches high, 12 inches deep, 15.5 inches wide. Hairpin legs (8 inches) are included; leg height cannot be modified.
  • Due to project size and class time constraints, finishing work such as staining or painting will not be completed during the session and should be done at home.
  • For safety, refrain from wearing loose clothing, jewelry, or necklaces that could become caught in equipment.
  • All materials, safety goggles, and earmuffs are supplied by the workshop. Students must bring their own dust masks, personal safety goggles, and earplugs.
  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old to participate independently, or 15 years old with a parent or guardian present.
  • Students aged 21 and older may bring wine or beer for consumption after all major equipment work is complete.
