  • What an incredible class by Chef Paul! He is a true craftsman and a wonderful teacher. I’m so grateful and honored to be a part of this experience.
  • Great instructor
  • Very informative and hands on.
  • I am not a cook whatsoever and I took this class on a whim with some friends and I had a great time. Chef Terrance and Lincoln made the class fun and I learned a lot more about how I can improve my cuts (and become a better prep assistant).
  • Wonderful class. Expert instructor.
  • My daughter and I took the Knife Skills class together, and it was a wonderful experience. This was our second class with Chef Paul. We learned how important proper knife maintenance is, and got to experience it firsthand by cutting vegetables with well-maintained knives — the difference was clear. I was familiar with many of the cutting techniques we covered, but it was nice watching my daughter learn them in the class. Chef Paul was incredibly patient and explained everything clearly every step of the way. And the food we got to enjoy at the end was absolutely delicious!
  • This class was fun and packed with information. The teacher is super knowledgable and it is very obvious she enjoys sharing information. Would love to book another class.
  • Erica was awesome! She made the class both informative and fun, with a great sense of humor. She also created a welcoming environment that made it easy to learn, ask questions, and enjoy the experience. Highly recommend!
  • I really enjoyed this knife skills 3 class! The instructor was engaging, helpful, and catered the class exactly to the level of the students. There were 12 people total and we were taught how to filet a red snapper and a fluke. Will definitely be taking more classes here, love the facilities and the instructors!
  • Chief Paul is as funny as he is helpful. A lot!!
  • Our Instructor (Nora I believe) was awesome! I started the class by unpacking my own knives I brought and cut myself, no fault but my own and I ended the class slicing basil like a pro! Seriously, for the first time, I have children in their late 20’s and 30’s, I learned how to properly hold a knife and properly slice veggies, using the blade of the knife versus pressing down with the power of my arm and chopping. The instructor walked around to the different stations providing individualized attention to each student. We made a delicious snack, and had a very productive evening. I highly recommend this class
  • Nora was an excellent teacher and skilled chef with knives. I thought she was so articulate, her demonstrations were spot on from an instructional perspective and she was actively engaged with the participants in the class by observing and providing individual hints and tips. It was fun and memorable! I now know how to handle a knife and let it do the work versus pushing down with force. She emphasized safety, organization, such as “Keep your cutting board clear of everything except the knife you are using” and “organize your preparation of vegetable steps: right is prepped and unfinished product, center is what you are working on cutting presently and left is finished product”. Highly recommend this class and instructor! Her assistant was excellent too! So sorry I don’t have his name to share! Thanks! The Mother of the Mother Daughter Duo!!!!
  • Awesome class! I learned a lot and enjoyed the meal at the end.
  • Chef Al is the best!! Highly recommend this class.
  • This class was so fun and we learned a lot! Chef Paul was great, and the way he showed us each different kind of cut was very useful. Such a good experience!
  • Wonderful class! Chef Sue is so knowledgeable and a really effective teacher. I am an absolute beginner and feel so much more confident now. I can’t wait both to put my new skills to use and to take another class there!
  • Great Educator and great experience all around, will be back for more classes!
  • The class was so much fun and very educational! I liked how intimate it was so there was time to ask questions and get one on one time with the teacher. Would love to do another one of these classes!
  • Amazing class! Had so much fun and learned so much even though I’ve been cooking at home for years. Great for new cooks too, my husband loved it. Susan was a great teacher - fun, educational, didn’t take anything too seriously, super engaging. Loved it!
  • Chef John is an excellent, captivating teacher who reinspired my love for cooking. He shares great tips and tricks plus entertaining commentary. Would highly recommend this class!
  • I loved everything about the class & how the chef presented & taught. I learned a lot!
  • Definitely recommend! Chef Paul has this wonderful class waiting for you. Very well thought out and the space was cozy/warm. You learn useful knife technique/how to take care of it, coupled with delicious and healthy way of preparing meals.
  • Good class. Lots of tips.
  • Great 3 hours - learnt so much!!
  • Such a fun, informative class! Would definitely recommend :)
  • We had a great time! I learned basic knife skills and cooking techniques. The food was delicious and Chef Paul was very knowledgeable.
  • It has been so hard to find a recurring cooking class for people who want to improve their cooking (but not become a chef) but this class is it! Having it recurring helps build upon and reinforce skills. I learned a ton of skills, found new recipes, and ate great food.
  • Excellent class! Informative and fun.
  • John was incredible, answering all our questions and so encouraging for us to take our new skills home.
  • I'm SO glad I decided to take this bootcamp. I started as a complete novice and gained so many skills and the confidence to start cooking on my own. The teacher is very engaging and knowledgable, and everyone else taking the class was curious, kind and supportive.
  • this class was awesome! from the moment i stepped in the room it was such a warm environment. erica was wonderful, bringing such positive energy and giving us so much knowledge—i left with pages of notes and techniques i can definitely continue to apply in the future (not to mention the food was delicious!). highly recommend—a great experience for even a cooking noob like me :)
  • that always felt intimidating way more approachable. We started with a whole bird and learned how to break it down step by step. I liked that it wasn’t just a demo — we actually got hands-on practice and the instructor came around to help everyone individually. What stood out to me was all the little tips: how to get the most meat off the bones, how to use every part (nothing goes to waste!), and even storage/meal ideas for later. By the end I felt confident I could buy a whole chicken and save money instead of relying on pre-cut pieces. The class was fun, practical, and honestly left me feeling kind of proud of myself. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to build kitchen skills or just try something new.
  • Fantastic course! Interesting, informative, and so helpful. Great mix of instruction with practice and guidance. Made me so much more confident and efficient in the kitchen.
  • Loved the class. Learned great knife skills and had fun doing it. Meal at the end was great. Definitely recommend.
  • Great instructor…. Lots of positive feedback .
  • Lovely class, from the chef to the meal to, most importantly, the other students! Learned some new tricks and had a great time.
  • Learned so much in this class! Instructor was knowledgeable and personable, food was great, and I feel like I have a lot of takeaways that I'll be able to actually implement on my own.
  • Loved this course so much I'm already trying to figure out a next level of it! Even as someone who already does cook at home, especially within my culture's cuisine I learned so much in this class. In particular strong foundational things that ground you in how to think about food and cooking so that we can continue exploring ingredients and flavors beyond what we do in class. Very highly recommend!
  • Excellent instruction and content. Friendly, non-intimidating atmosphere.
  • Erica was great! Very informative and great teaching style.
  • Abigail was so kind - she was very detailed with what a practical home cook actually needs. Felt like a great use of time and can't wait to take more classes!
  • My experience was fantastic, and it was all very comprehensive, and digestible! The chef was very patient, and was a great teacher! I learned everyday skills, that will help me for a lifetime!
  • The class was full of great tips and really laid a solid foundation about best methods of prepping and cooking. The science of cooking was a fresh way to approach the meal. A nice blend of relaxed hands-on experience and rigor. Al really connected with the group and left me—and others—wanting to explore more.
  • The courses were well-run with clear instructions. The chefs/tutors did a great job guiding the class, demonstrating techniques, and assisting when needed.
  • It was an inviting and enjoyable class. I had a really good time.
  • Al was amazing. The vibes were perfect, the instruction helpful, and it was just all together wonderful experience capped with a delicious meal
  • The level and scope of the course were as expected and perfect for me. The instructors (Susan, and John for one session) were great, engaging and provided a lot of additional information beyond the notes and recipes we received. Being able to sit down and eat the food we prepared was also a fantastic way to end each session with the group. The size of the group was appropriate and the kitchen well set and equipped.
  • Incredible experience with an expert teacher. Totally changed the way I view cooking and food and I am a much more confident home chef. So grateful for this class!
  • I loved how we focused a lot on the "why" of cooking and the specific techniques rather than just making the recipe. It was also a lot of fun, Chef John was awesome and brought a lot of humor and energy to each session.
  • This course exceeded my expectations. I thought I was just going to learn how to hold a knife correctly, but I also learned how to cook without a recipe and that I have been severely under-salting my foods (no wonder nobody wants to come over for dinner). I would recommend this course to any kitchen beginner and have thought about this class every time I've stepped into my kitchen since taking it. I'm more confident in the kitchen now and am excited to learn more!
