Description

In celebration of Rye Week Kings County Distillery is hosting a special tour all about rye! Learn about how Kings County Distillery became one of the original New York distilleries to offer Empire Rye as a distinct product of New York State. Stand on the distillery floor and learn more about the science and magic of mashing, fermentation and pot distillation. Take in the angel's share in our barrel room and find out how the spirit is mellowed by the oak while it picks up all its color and develops deeper flavors.

The tour ends with a tasting of four of our core products:

White Rye
Blended Bourbon
Straight Bourbon
Empire Rye

IMPORTANT NOTES:

You must be age 21+ with proper ID to enjoy whiskey. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion. At this time children are not permitted on the tour, unless they are young enough to be worn by a parent/guardian in an infant carrier.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the starting time.

Tours will start no later than 5 minutes after the listed time.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes late your spot will be forfeited to someone on our waitlist with no option to reschedule or be refunded.

This tour does require going up and down stairs.

Refund Policy

We are happy to work with you to reschedule your experience.
Once booked, tours are non-refundable.
They can be rescheduled for another time or credited to a friend or family member if the cancellation notice is given 48 hours in advance.

Refund Processing Fees:

In the event a class is still going to occur and a full refund is requested, and you are eligible for a full refund in accordance with the provider’s policy, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from your refund amount
