This course applies fundamental Mixed Martial Arts techniques to the specialized fields of theatrical performance and film production. Each session combines instruction in essential combat skills (including diverse punch techniques, kick styles, blocking methods, defensive moves, and evasion techniques) with practical application of these skills in staged and screen combat scenarios. Participants will progress toward creating choreography that seamlessly incorporates all learned techniques into realistic, compelling fight sequences.
Students enrolled in this program will practice techniques specifically designed to make combat actions appear convincing and dynamic, both for live audiences watching from various vantage points and for film and television cameras capturing action from multiple angles and perspectives.
