Train at your own pace with us on an individualized basis. All skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, are welcome in our comprehensive program. The class operates in an ongoing format designed to build progressively upon your personal skill level and artistic goals. Various combat disciplines run concurrently within the same session, so on any given night, some students may focus on unarmed combat while others work on longsword technique, explore knife fighting, or collaborate on choreography for a specific project.
Whether you're completely new to our training or returning to advance your skills, this open enrollment model ensures an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Monthly enrollment structure:
- All students commit to training for the entire calendar month
- Classes meet for two hours on weekday evenings in Manhattan
- You pay one flat fee covering all classes for that month, with no makeup sessions offered
- The maximum class size is capped at 10 participants. Once 10 students have committed for the month, a waitlist opens for additional interested participants
- Students from the previous month receive priority registration for the following month. When returning students choose not to continue, their spots become available to the next person on the waitlist. Those wishing to rejoin after sitting out are added to future waitlists as openings occur
Studio procedures and guidelines:
- Arrive no more than 15 minutes before your scheduled class time
- Upon arrival, inform the front desk attendant that you're heading to the 7th floor (studio 702)
- If no one is at the desk, a member of our staff will be available to grant access
- Remove your street shoes when entering the studio and store them on the shelves located by the entrance
- Use the changing rooms available to prepare for your training session
- Wear clean, indoor-specific shoes while training in the space. If you're unsure whether your shoes are appropriate, consult with your instructor upon arrival. Training in socks or bare feet is acceptable if needed
