Come join in the fun and learn to make a variety of beautiful, natural bath and body products with natural ingredients including herbs, botanicals, and essential oils: lotion bars, salves and balms, body scrubs, and herbal butter! This is a great class for massage therapists, spa owners, bath and body company owners, and anyone who wants to make incredibly good-for-your-body products.
As a class, we'll make a batch of luscious lotion bars. Lotion bars are wonderful for massages and for dry skin. They are anhydrous - made without water - and no preservatives required. You'll love the price markup on these products if you make natural skincare to sell. If you don't have a business, you'll love the money-saving benefit of making your own body care products.
You'll learn to formulate and create your own body scrubs. We will discuss the best packaging options for scrubs and each product we make this evening as well as how to properly label your indie beauty products.
Next, we'll formulate a batch of herbal butters as we work with healing, infused herbs. We'll also create a versatile balm recipe for the body and lips. We will cover the essentials of formulating, healing properties of plant oils, herbs, and botanicals.
This is a hands-on class. If you have an existing bath and body business, you'll love how these products boast great markups. You can cross-sell these with the rest of your line to your customers.

This class is open to beginners through advanced. Students will receive a class handout that includes instructions, formulas, and a valuable list of my favorite places to buy supplies and equipment.
