From the most traditional art forms to the commercial to the abstract, a wide variety of artists and creatives come to the U.S. every year to pursue their dreams. However, as international artists know, the legal realities of working in the U.S. are sometimes not so clear. Among other legal concerns, professional artists who work internationally must consider their immigration status in the countries where they plan to work.
This workshop will review the U.S. immigration process for artists and creatives from abroad who wish to work in the U.S. We will discuss the procedures, timelines, expenses and strategies associated with procuring a visa in order to gain a clear understanding of the complex requirements of the visa process.
