Using the skill vocabulary you already have, we'll explore how different styles and tempos of music change the way a sequence looks and feels in the air. We'll run them against a range of music that plays with timing, dynamics, and quality of movement to see how the same material can tell completely different stories. Each student will have the option of submitting one song (~30 second section) that you'd like to work with. (Submitted music will be considered but not guaranteed to be used.) Please email your music to [email protected] within one week of the workshop.
