Aurora Reyes unlocks the secrets for bulerias and tangos, the most open forms in flamenco. Originally, these forms were sung and danced at fiestas, or are used to do finales in theater shows. They use some improvisation and lots of personal style. Bulerias has a tricky 12-beat or 6-beat cycle, and tangos has a 4-beat or 8-beat cycle. There are many different styles of singing and guitar accompaniment. Aurora breaks down movement slowly, works passages over and over, and runs routines from start to end while singing for the student group. Basilio Georges and his guitar students accompany.
