Description

We are thrilled to introduce a new kind of ceramic experience crafted for the senses. During our Clay Pairing Workshops you will create beautiful, functional ceramics while savoring delightful pairings of flavor, aroma, and play.

Each session is beginner-friendly and designed to awaken your creativity and your senses. Each workshop includes everything you need to create a unique ceramic piece and lasting memory.

Workshop Project: Mezcal & Clay

Savor a spicy passion fruit mezcalita provided by family-owned El Buho Mezcal while learning slab and pinch techniques to create a ceramic tray and copita cup. While made for mezcal, the set’s versatility shines. Use it for snacks, keepsakes, or everyday rituals around the house.

Experience Level

Beginners and Experienced Potters. Come as you are, leave with something beautiful.

What's Included

We will glaze and fire the project taught in the workshop and we will email you approximately 4-5 weeks after your class, when your creations are ready to be picked up. Additional pieces can be fired for a fee.

Refund Policy

One Day Wheel Classes:

No Refund. 3 months valid credit if cancellation is made in writing to CourseHorse 6 business days prior to the class.
Please note, a class can only be rescheduled once, and 6 business days advanced notice is required.
Classes and/or Workshops booked less than a week prior to the start of the program are final sale; there will be no refunds or rescheduling available.
There will be a $10 rebooking charged for each registration that is rescheduled.

7 or 8 Week Class Session:

$125 deposit is non-refundable. The balance will be refunded for cancellations made in writing to CourseHorse no later than 8 business days prior to the start of the 7 or 8 week session. No refunds available thereafter.
In the event CDC guidelines change before or during the course of the session and/or a studio shut down occurs, the class will transition to online instruction. Due to the impact of Covid-19 on small businesses, we will be unable to provide refunds or credits, even though online classes may not provide the same instruction than in person instruction.
Please make sure you only register if you are comfortable with this policy.

Wheel Throwing Intensive:

$280 will be refunded for cancellation made in writing 6 business days prior the start of the Wheel Throwing Intensive session. No refund or credit will be available after that.
There is no make up class available for the wheel throwing class portion of these workshops, but the glazing class can be made up in a different session as long as absence notice was given in writing the week prior.

Clay Camp:

$160 deposit is non-refundable. The balance will be refunded for cancellations made in writing to CourseHorse no later than 8 business days prior to the start of the camp.
No refund or credit will be issued for missed classes.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
