Join us for a 2-hour workshop where you can explore the art of wheel throwing under the guidance of our skilled instructors. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this class welcomes all levels.
During the workshop, you'll immerse yourself in the fundamentals of working with clay. Through a combination of engaging demos and hands-on experiences, you'll learn everything from the basics like centering and throwing on the pottery wheel to essential clean-up procedures. By the end of the session, you'll have the chance to craft your very first functional form using wheel throwing techniques.
All necessary materials and tools will be provided. Additionally, our expert team will fire and apply a white glaze to one piece per participant. Additional work can be glazed and fired for $15 per piece.
Please note that ceramics is a craft that requires practice and patience. This class emphasizes the process of learning and refining your techniques.
After the class, anticipate a waiting period of approximately three weeks before your piece is ready for pickup. Rest assured, we'll notify you via email once your work is fired and available to collect.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
- Requests for a full refund must be made at least 7 days prior to the start of class and incurs a $15 processing fee per person
- Requests made within one week of class start are 50% refundable
- We cannot honor refunds for throwdowns requested within 48hrs of class start, no exceptions
