Instructor friendly and supportive. Took time with each of us to make sure we understand what we needed to do. Enjoyed myself much. May repeat.
  • Knife Sharpening

amazing class!!!! If you want to discover the intricacies of knife sharpening look no further. Turn off the youtube videos. They're a waste of time. Don't worry about maintaining knife angle. All things work themselves out if you take this class The class was two hours long. First hour was theory plus examples. The second hour we were knife sharpening. The main takeaway for me was that I learned how to test a knife for sharpness and not worry about angle. Then I learned how to look for constant feedback when sharpening. The next day I sharpened one of my other knives and it came out perfect. Finally!! Knife sharpening has been demystified. Some students had a hard time though. I'm a quick study so it was easy peasy for me. Bring your own knives for this class. I recommend a chef knife!
